About Mr Edward Alabraba
Mr Edward Alabraba is a consultant general surgeon specialising in treating hernias, and managing problems of the gallbladder, pancreas, and liver. Edward sees patients at The Park Hospital and at The Woodthorpe Hospitals in Nottingham.
Edward Alabraba is also a consultant hepatobiliary surgeon so specialises in the surgery for disease affecting the liver, bile ducts and pancreas, including cancers. Edward is involved with the regular multidisciplinary team meetings at Nottingham University Hospitals at which complex liver and pancreas cases are discussed.
Edward Alabraba has an interest in managing pancreatitis and is a core member of the multidisciplinary Chronic Pancreatitis clinic at Nottingham University Hospitals. This clinic provides holistic care for patients with Chronic Pancreatitis, addressing nutritional problems, diabetes, pain and mental health issues.
